Put Yourself In Their Position
Emotional connection is as important as technical knowledge. This workshop centers on bolstering empathy through the understanding that animals are just like us. We ask the children to consider that animals are sentient, with feelings like hunger, cold, fear, and pain. We encourage them to show respect and compassion for animals, just as they would want for themselves. As with people, no abuse is justified.
